The NDDS-1000 Ship Information Distribution System (GBDS) receives navigational data, manages the data and distributes them in the formats and frequencies desired by the receiving devices. NDDS-1000 sends data with timestamp using precision time server.

The NDDS-1000 GBDS performs a number of additional functions besides collecting data from the sources connected to it. In this context;

  • Automatic or manual selection of data according to priority,
  • Some data are processed within the framework of certain algorithms and sent to the necessary places,
  • Transmitting some data in the desired speed, frequency and format by converting some data into the formats required by the units to be sent,

performs functions such as For time sensitive receivers, it also stamps the data received from the Atomic Time Server in the system.

The NDDS-1000 operates on a paired gigabit network line (copper cable or fiber) to which all sensors and receivers are connected. Thus, it provides high-speed data transfer, can be configured easily, eliminates the need to pull a new cable in case a new device is added to the ship, provides a 90% reduction in cable installation and reduces the weight of the ship.
